The Lincoln Public Schools Sustainability Department is looking for a passionate individual to join our team. LPS Sustainability coordinates district-wide environmental programs and provides support for green school activities.

These are a few of the initiatives and activities you may be working with:

Recycling and Composting Program
Gardens and Outdoor Learning
Construction Waste Management and Recycling
Student and Staff Engagement
LPS Green Schools Recognition Program
Sustainability Communications and Social Media

Requirements:

Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and Google Drive
Ability to work independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines

Prefer applicants currently pursuing a degree in environmental studies, environmental education, environmental science, or related field.

This is a paid position starting at $13.94/hour.

Candidates should have availability for 20 hours/week between the hours of 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday. Preferred start in May of 2023.
