Summer Intern and Full-Time Opportunities available!
Summer Intern Opportunities:
Must be willing to work 40-60 hours/week during the summer. Depending upon school schedule and Speece Lewis work load, work may be available to continue during the regular school year.
Construction Inspection/Observation:
Oversee construction of roads, bridges, grading, culverts and paving. Ensure projects are built in accordance with plans and specifications. Overnight travel may be required.
Survey Crew Member:
Assist survey crew in gathering topographic data and construction staking of projects. Experience in the use of GPS and Total Stations is beneficial, but not required.
Full-Time Opportunities:
Civil Engineer:
Duties will include the design of roadways, storm drainage, and box culverts. Must be a team player who is willing to work with others and coordinate other aspects of the project into work. Work will also include assembling bid documents, cost estimates, and permitting.
Civil Design Technician:
Assist in drafting of roadway, bridge, grading, and culvert projects. Must be detail oriented and have experience in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
Survey Crew Member:
Assist survey crew in gathering topographic data and construction staking of projects. Experience in the use of GPS and Total Stations is beneficial, but not required.
A clean driving record is required for all positions.
