Title: Innovative Methods in Maritime Logistics
Abstract: Maritime logistics faces growing challenges in both operational efficiency and environmental sustainability. This dissertation develops an integrated framework that connects landside truck operations with waterside ship routing to improve system performance. The study introduces advanced queuing models, integrated truck scheduling approaches, and a hybrid optimization method for ammonia fueled ship routing. The results demonstrate that coordinated decision-making can reduce congestion, enhance efficiency, and support the transition toward sustainable maritime transportation.
