Bus and van services connect university campuses with full weekday routes and schedules. The university contracts with the City of Lincoln StarTran to provide buses. University Parking and Transit Services offers campus van services.

These services are provided by the student transit fee and parking revenue. At this time, no app, pass or fee is required to ride the bus or van.

Bus and van services include enhanced features as part of the campus Covid-19 procedures.
Transportation is following campus guidelines for personal hygiene, prevention, and well-being measures.
• All UNL faculty, staff, students, and visitors will wear facial coverings when riding buses and vans on the UNL campus, with a few exceptions.
• Hand sanitizer dispensers are available.
StarTran and Parking and Transit Services are regularly cleaning vehicle surfaces.

StarTran operates eight buses on two Routes, 24 and 25, connecting City and East Campus, and two buses on Route 22, between City Campus and Innovation Campus.
Parking and Transit Services provides van service on Route 23, running between East Campus and Innovation Campus.
