The Lincoln Marathon will be held Sunday, May 5, and City Campus is a key area for the race and related weekend events. The marathon route includes sections of City Campus, including start and finish lines.
Parking restrictions, heavy traffic, runners, and fans will be factors throughout the weekend.
Parking and traffic changes on campus include:
• Parking and streets in the purple areas in the accompanying map are closed from 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 5.
• Parking and streets shown in the orange areas are closed from 5:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 5.
• In the lime green areas, 14th Street is closed from Vine to W Streets from 10:00 p.m. Friday, May 3, until 11:00 a.m. Sunday, May 5.
• In the lime green areas, 14th Street from W street to the south entrance of the 14th and Avery Garage is closed from 5:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Sunday, May 5.
• In the dark blue areas, Stadium Drive between T and U Streets, north of the Stadium Drive Parking Garage, is closed from 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 4, until 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 5.
