In an effort to constantly improve user experience, many of the WDN-affiliated public information applications have been enhanced over the past couple months with new features.

UNL Maps was given a large redesign, moving layer control for maps, police stations, and other elements into a popup menu to reduce visual clutter and show more of the map. Real-time campus bus locations were also re-added after a period of downtime from the outside vendor.

Events has added lots of new options, including new location requirements, support for virtual locations (IE Zoom), support for google micro data and meta tags, a calendar lookup page, and a new API. The event creation and edit pages were also redesigned.

Mediahub has added additional aspect ratios for videos: 9x16, 4x3, 3x4, 1x1. It also now supports 4k video with optimization.

WebAudit has added additional roles ("Owner", "Primary Site Manager", and "Secondary Site Manager") to help with clearer delineation of site management, especially as sites move through the transition from UNLcms (Drupal 7) to the Next-Gen CMS. 301 Redirects were also added as notices (not errors).

When searching for a Go URL, the details screen now includes a button that allows users to download the QR code for that URL in both PNG and SVG format. This option was previously only available to owners of the URL itself.
