
ENGL/ETHN 245A: Asian American Literature

This introductory course will provide a range of fiction, poetry, plays, and creative nonfiction from the twentieth century to the present from Asian American writers. Students will gain a critical understanding of the cultural histories and experiences of Asian American communities in the United States as represented in literature.
This course fulfills an ethnic literature or diversity requirement in the English major. It can also be used in the English and Ethnic Studies minors. It is certified as ACE 9 and can be used for CDR Humanities for CAS students.
