Have you ever felt what you said in a class discussion was dismissed? Did you feel you didn’t have a voice, or that your views were not shared or heard by others in the classroom? In this session we will talk about how discussions can go awry, and how you can become an active agent in reestablishing respect within the classroom. We will discuss different strategies to establish your own voice and help others voices be heard. This session will be useful to both students and faculty.
