The Wind and the Whale event will take place Sept. 25-26 on the Nebraska Union greenspace. Fifty replica wind turbines and 70'inflatable whale will fill the area to promote clean, renewable energy, and to show support in favor of weaning the United States off of fossil fuels.

Although Oceana's main interest is in protecting the ocean and its habitat, and to promote the end of offshore drilling, clean energy is a cause even landlocked Nebraskans can get behind!
