The Student Parent Association (Students with Children) will have a special guest speaker at our November 15th meeting, from 11am to noon in the Women’s Center, Nebraska Union 338. Program Coordinator for Family Services WIC and registered dietitian Caitlin McCann will give a presentation discussing the Nebraska Women, Infants, and Children Nutrition Program (WIC) and how it can benefit current students at UNL who are pregnant or parenting children five years of age and under.
As always, this Student Parent Association meeting is free and open to all genders, and to students, staff, and faculty members regardless of whether they are parents. Please consider attending if you are a parent, the parent of a child eligible for WIC, or an interested individual of the UNL community. RSVPs are encouraged to ensure adequate space and resources, and can be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org.
