The School of Natural Resources will feature Wildlife Encounters education program from 6 to 7 p.m. April 17 at Hardin Hall Auditorium as part of the annual College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Week 2018.

CASNR week celebrates the successes of all CASNR students, faculty, staff and alumni, but is branching out this year with more community focused events.

Encounter CASNR at SNR will kick off at 4 p.m. with natural resources discovery stations, games and prizes provided by our students clubs in the Hardin Hall parking lot, 3310 Holdrege St. Free parking will be provided in the lot north of Hardin Hall, and free food will be provided by the Nebraska Pork Producers and CASNR.

The event is open to the public, but is geared toward families.

Wildlife Encounters is an organization dedicated to educating the public about the natural world while offering a home to animals in need. Animals from all over the world make it into their presentations. Their education programs have been seen and heard by more than 1 million students nationwide.
