Free CPR training sessions are Jan. 24

 Lincoln Fire and Rescue is offering CPR training sessions to UNL faculty, staff and students on Jan. 24. The 30-minute sessions are 9 a.m. in the Nebraska Union Auditorium and 1:30 p.m. in the East Union, Goldenrod Room. The training session will feature the "Hands Only" CPR technique. Educational service award nominees sought

Nominations are being accepted until Feb. 1 for UNL’s Distinguished Educational Service Award. The award recognizes outstanding performance by a faculty member. Nominees must have devoted at least 25 percent of their work to extension, continuing studies or educational service. Continue reading…

Winter Lecture Series examines Iran

 The 2013 Winter Lecture Series will feature discussions on "Understanding Iran," 7 to 9 p.m., Sundays, Jan. 20 to March 10. The series, which is free and open to the public, is also a one-credit seminar or three-credit independent study course taught by Charles Francis. Continue reading…

CBA study abroad program adds China trip

Glenn WilliamsCBA is offering a faculty-led study abroad program to China in summer 2013. Students will experience the business environment and cultural aspects in Shanghai, Beijing and Hangzhou, June 10-16 while earning three UNL credits.
