Mueller Planetarium Announces Spring Laser Show Schedule

Ralph Mueller Planetarium at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln has announced its schedule of laser light shows for the rest of the spring.

The schedule includes afternoon family shows and evening laser rock shows that are not intended for young children. The afternoon family shows include a new show by Norah Jones, the Grammy-winning artist whose music encompasses blues, jazz, bluegrass and rhythm and blues.

The schedule of family shows (all beginning at 3:30 p.m.): March 28 - "Music of Enya"; April 4 and 25 -- Norah Jones; May 9 -- Enya; May 16 -- Rod Stewart; May 23 -- Fleetwood Mac.

The schedule of laser rock shows (programs at 8 and 9:30 p.m. each day): April 2-3 -- Dave Matthews Band; April 9-10 -- The Beatles; April 23-24 - "Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon."

Admission for afternoon laser shows is $6 for adults, $4 for children and college students; for evening laser rock shows, admission is $5 for adults, $4 for college students (with ID). Tickets are sold at the front desk of the University of Nebraska State Museum in Morrill Hall, 14th and U streets.
