Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honorary Inducts 38 New Members

Only a select few earn the title of "The Best in the Business." This year's 38 Beta Gamma Sigma inductees at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Business Administration have earned it. Of Ph.D. and master's degree candidates, seniors and juniors at schools accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, only 5 percent are selected to join this prestigious organization.
Beta Gamma Sigma was founded as a national organization in 1913 as the first national honor society in business. It is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in an undergraduate or master's program. The mission and objectives of Beta Gamma Sigma are to encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business and personal and professional excellence in the practice of business.
