'Hubblevision II' Is Mueller Planetarium Astronomy Show

Lincoln, Neb., August 20th, 2004 —

"Hubblevision II," featuring beautiful images captured by the Hubble Space Telescope and the latest discoveries made with the astronomical wonder, will be Ralph Mueller Planetarium's astronomy show through Nov. 28.

The 32-minute program will be shown at 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays (except Saturdays with Nebraska home football games, Sept. 4 and 11, and Oct. 2, 16 and 30). Mueller Planetarium is in the University of Nebraska State Museum (Morrill Hall), 14th and U streets on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln City Campus.

Tickets to planetarium astronomy shows are $6 for adults and $4 for children and UNL students (with valid ID) and include admission to the NU State Museum. Astronomy show tickets are sold at the front desk of Morrill Hall the day of the show. Museum hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and 1:30-4:30 p.m. Sundays and holidays (except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day, when it is closed).

Laser music shows will return to Mueller Planetarium in September (schedule to be announced).
