The event is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Hamilton Hall in the heart of UNL's City Campus (12th and T streets extended). The day will include guided tours of chemistry labs and special instrumentation centers, an informational session featuring a variety of interesting experimental demonstrations in addition to academic information. A special session by Professor Mark Griep titled "Chemists Are From Mars, Chemists Are From Venus: A Look at Men and Women Chemists in the Movies." Early arrivals will have the opportunity to participate in up to two lab experiments, one featuring chromatography T-shirts and another featuring forensic investigation at "CSI: Hamilton Hall." Optional campus tours and teacher roundtables will also be available.
