Lincoln, Neb., October 22nd, 2004 —

Twenty undergraduate students have been selected as homecoming royalty finalists at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The homecoming king and queen will be elected in a vote of the student body and crowned Oct. 30 at halftime of the Nebraska-Missouri football game in Memorial Stadium.

The candidates for 2004 royalty are listed below, alphabetically by hometown.

NEBRASKA

Ainsworth: Katie J. Weichman, daughter of Denton and Ann Weichman, is a senior in the College of Business Administration majoring in business administration.

Arapahoe: Kristin L. Warner, daughter of Reginald and Mary Kay Warner, is a senior in the College of Education and Human Sciences, majoring in family and consumer sciences education.

Bellevue: Todd A. West, son of John and Lynn West, is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in political science.

Dakota City: Diane M. Broyhill, daughter of Kent and Marci Broyhill, is a senior in the College of Education and Human Sciences majoring in community health.

Lincoln: Brian R. Butler, son of Carol and the late Richard Butler, is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in chemistry; Casey S. Collier, son of Barry and Annette Collier, is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in psychology and pre-medicine; Adam M. Hahn, son of Michael and Patrice Hahn, is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in international studies and German; Sarah Elizabeth Sterns, daughter of John Turner and Elizabeth Sterns, is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in English and history; Maggie J. Stuckey, daughter of Scott and Nancy Stuckey, is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in political science and history.

Minden: Libby D. Johnson, daughter of Haldine and Lyra Johnson, is a senior in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources majoring in animal science.

Nebraska City: Steven A. Mills, son of Edward and Mary Mills, is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in chemistry.

Omaha: Nicholas N. Clatterbuck, son of Gary and Debi Clatterbuck, is a senior in the College of Business Administration majoring in economics; Valerie J. Mauler, daughter of Duane and Barbara Mauler, is a senior in the College of Business Administration majoring in marketing; Frank R. Opal, son of Robert and Margaret Opal, is a senior in the College of Engineering and Technology majoring in chemical engineering; Kristen M. Otterson, daughter of Jerry and Bev Otterson, is a senior in the College of Business Administration majoring in business management and marketing.

Scotia: Curtis A. Wray, son of Gene and Mayre Wray, is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in math, chemistry and biochemistry.

Waco: Shannon M. Cummins, daughter of Hal and Mary Cummins, is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in economics, international studies, and art history and criticism.
