ROTC cadets with armed forces ties honored

Twenty-three of 42 cadets in the Professional Officer Corps in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Reserve Officers' Training Corps program were honored on Veterans Day for following in the steps of their parents and relatives in armed forces service.
Cadets are authorized to wear the "Prop and Wings" insignia on their flight caps if a relative was a member of the Army Air Corps, if a parent has at least 20 years of military service, if a parent died in the line of duty, or if a parent participated in active combat as a member of any U.S. military service.
The following cadets in the Professional Officer Corps were recognized with the insignia.
