Six earn Management Development Certificates

Six managers from Lincoln and Omaha firms recently earned Management Development Certificates from the Department of Management in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Business Administration.
Three earned Executive Management Development Certificates: Rebecca A. Cain, operations supervisor with Information Management Services in Lincoln; Gale R. Paxton, assistant vice president with Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. in Lincoln; and Judy Plath, supervisor of records management with the Omaha Public Power District in Omaha.
Two earned Advanced Management Development Certificates: Mikki McGuire, coordinator of quality with Cooperative Benefit Administrators Inc. in Lincoln; and Cindi Van Housen, supervisor project resource management with the Omaha Public Power District in Omaha.
Susan Martens, senior administrative assistant with Cooperative Benefit Administrators in Lincoln, received a Basic Management Development Certificate.
The Management Development Certificate Program is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of managers. Seminars are taught by experts in the field with the ability to bring theory to life and provide practical applications. To earn the certificate, participants must successfully complete eight six-hour seminars.
