Women in Business Benefit is March 3

All women in business, entrepreneurship, and professional fields are invited to attend the Women in Business Benefit, March 3 at the Cornhusker Hotel, 333 S. 13th St. The event is sponsored by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Center for Entrepreneurship, the UNL Students In Free Enterprise team, and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

The evening will begin at 6 with a trade show featuring businesses owned by women and organizations that help women start businesses. During the trade show, there will be live music, a cash bar, and networking events.

After the 7 p.m. dinner, Brook Matthews, Miss Nebraska, will speak on women in the business world. Accompanying dessert will be an Emily Chen Business Fashion Show featuring apparel from Banana Republic.

Students in Free Enterprise is an organization dedicated to helping entrepreneurs in Nebraska as well as all over the world. The Women in Business Benefit will bring together women in Nebraska to network, empower, and support each other. Proceeds from the event will benefit SIFE and its award-winning community projects.
