The third annual University of Nebraska-Lincoln Research Fair is March 8, 9 and 10 at the Nebraska Union, 1400 R St.
The purpose of the event is to recognize faculty successes in research and scholarship activities, to provide faculty and staff with networking opportunities with federal agency program officers, to learn more about funding opportunities and winning strategies for writing research grants, to showcase our university's strengths in research, and to provide professional development opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students.
The fair is free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Books written by UNL faculty in 2004 will be displayed in the Centennial Room each day of the Research Fair.
New to the fair this year are the UNL Professional Development Seminars, which are presented by UNL staff from Sponsored Programs, Proposal Development, Technology Development, the University of Nebraska Press, Information Services and Undergraduate Research.
The schedule of events for the fair is available on the World Wide Web at www.unl.edu/research/rf2005/researchfair.html.
