Twenty-six teams representing 16 Nebraska high schools participated this month in the 2005 Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics, and Science (TEAMS) competition, hosted by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering and Technology.
TEAMS is an interscholastic competition that provides a challenge to help prepare students for tomorrow's world today. Students learn how the math and science concepts in high school are applied to real-world problems. In addition, the TEAMS program encourages tomorrow's engineers to work cooperatively and think critically.
