September Management Development Seminars focus on planning skills

To succeed in the rapidly changing business environment, managers and supervisors need to continuously update and enhance their knowledge and skills. Management Development Certificate Program seminars from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Department of Management offer training in a variety of areas critical to business today.

In these interactive seminars, the instructors bring cutting-edge theory to life and provide practical applications participants can put to work immediately. Topics and dates for the September seminars are:

* Project Management, Sept. 14 (register by Sept. 8)
* Effective Planning, Sept. 21 (register by Sept. 15)
* Managing Multiple Demands, Sept. 28 (register by Sept. 22)

All seminars are held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mahoney State Park, Interstate 80 Exit 426.

Any of these seminars can count toward completion of a UNL Business Seminars Management Development Certificate. Information on the three levels of certificates offered is available by telephone at (402) 472-0860 and on the Web (www.mds.unl.edu). Participation in the certificate program is not a requirement to attend the seminars.
