The University of Nebraska-Lincoln awarded Cory Scott of Cedar Rapids and Bridget Schulz of Seward transfer Regents scholarships. The transfer Regents scholarship is awarded based on superior academics and demonstrated leadership and involvement at their current institutions
To be eligible for the transfer Regents scholarship, students must have at least a 3.5 grade point average and have completed a minimum of 45 credit hours at a Nebraska community college. The value of the transfer Regents scholarship is full tuition for four semesters, approximately $9,100.

At SCC, Scott has been a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society, a computer lab tutor, participated in student government activities and been named to the dean's list for the past six quarters.
Schulz is a graduate of Seward High School and attends SCC in Lincoln. She plans to major in business management with an emphasis in human resources. At SCC, Schulz has maintained a 4.0 grade-point average while working full-time and attending school full-time. She has also volunteered at Cedars Youth Services in Lincoln.
