Students elected to UNL student government

University of Nebraska-Lincoln students were elected to one-year terms in the Association of Students of the University of Nebraska student government in student-body elections last month at UNL.
ASUN includes three executives (president, and first and second vice presidents), the 35-member Senate, whose members are elected by college, the Committee for Fees Allocation, the Student Court, the Appointment Board and other committees.
Matt Schaefer of Columbus was elected president of ASUN and will serve one year as a member of the University of Nebraska Board of Regents. Laine Norton, a junior news-editorial major from Lincoln was elected first vice president, and Matt Connolly, a senior management major from Omaha, was elected second vice president.
