Alumni board elects new officers and directors

The Nebraska Alumni Association board of directors elected new officers and board members at its spring meeting in Lincoln May 5. The new group will take office July 1.
Warren "Nate" Eckloff, '78, '81, of Denver succeeds Jan Connolly, '73, of Lincoln as president of the board. He is executive vice president and managing director of public finance for RBC Dain Rauscher. Connolly, senior vice president and corporate secretary of Ameritas, continues on the board as past president.
Thomas Burnell, '84, '85, CEO of Eurofins Scientific Inc. in Memphis, Tenn., moves up to first vice president; and Jeannine Falter, '76, '95, '00, of Lincoln, vice president of business development for Duncan Aviation, is second vice president. At-large members of the 2006-2007 executive committee are William Davis Jr., '77, Tinley Park, Ill.; Chris Hove, '83, Lincoln; and William Mueller, '77, '80, Lincoln. The new officers will serve two-year terms.
Newly elected to three-year terms on the board of directors are Heidi Cuca-Conklin, '87, Lincoln; Abbas K. Mohaddes, '79, Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.; David W. Nuckolls, '86, Alpharetta, Ga.; Stephanie Skrupa, '86, Omaha; and Kelly Irby, student representative. Appointed to fill the unexpired terms of John Strope and Victoria Benning are Scott Carlson, '80, of Omaha, and Judy Terwilliger, '95, of Lincoln. Those reelected to second terms on the board include Falter, Hove and David Fleck, '72, Sioux Falls, S.D.
The following alumni have retired from the board: past president Bill Dana, '79, Omaha; Roger Kobayashi, '69, '75, Omaha; Julie Olson, '76, Lincoln; William Ross, '57, Kearney; and B.J. Hansen, student representative.
