New Scarlet & Cream Singers named

The Nebraska Alumni Association has announced members of the Scarlet & Cream Singers for the 2006-07 performing season.
The group, which was founded in 1973, includes 16 singers, a drummer and a technician. Jon Ranard, director of the singers, will serve as the pianist. The group is still in search of a second technician and a bass guitar player. The students will begin rehearsing in August and perform throughout the academic year for university and alumni events, business functions and schools across the state.

Beatrice: Abbie Hartman, singer.
Elkhorn: Calen Johnson, singer; Jake Ramsbottom, singer.
Gering: Brittny Smith, sound and lighting technician.
Hickman: Robert Wamsley, singer.
Holdrege: Mallory Cox, singer.
Kearney: Michael Andersen, singer; Minnie Benson, singer; Daniel Butler, singer.
Lincoln: Betsy Bowhay, singer; Summer Froehlich, singer; Kinsey Hustad, singer; Tyler Mohr, singer; Abi Shelbourn, singer.
Omaha: Theresa Fuchs, singer.
Papillion: Ben Baldwin, singer.
Sioux Falls, S.D.: Lee Running, singer.
Stanton: Parker Bender, drummer.
