The School of Music at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will again offer organ lessons through the Church Organist Training Program.
This program is designed for church organists, potential church organists and those who simply want to learn to play the organ.
It is a noncredit course of study offering private organ lessons, which can lead to a certificate of achievement. Lessons are scheduled with teachers in Lincoln, Elkhorn, and Stromsburg. All of the teachers hold advanced degrees in organ performance from UNL. Students in the training program receive 15 half-hour lessons each semester. Lessons for the fall semester will begin during the week of Aug. 28. For more information, contact Michele Deaton at the School of Music (402) 472-6861.
