UNL's Big Red Road Show in Omaha March 4

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln will hold the fifth-annual "Big Red Road Show" at Qwest Center Omaha from 1 to 4 p.m. March 4. More than 75 interactive exhibits, college presentations and an opportunity to meet Ahman Green of the Green Bay Packers will be open to the public, and admission is free.
The Big Red Road Show is designed to help high school seniors make their final decisions about college and high school juniors and sophomores to begin their college search. Students of all ages and adults can attend to experience a glimpse of college life at UNL. Representatives from all UNL undergraduate colleges, graduate studies, and student affairs offices such as Scholarships and Financial Aid, Career Services, and Admissions will be on hand. Channel 94.1 FM will have a live radio remote on site. Upwards of 2,000 visitors are expected at the event. A second Big Red Road Show is scheduled for March 31 in South Sioux City.
Highlights of the event include:
* Green Bay Packers star and Husker legend Ahman Green in person and signing autographs
* Spirit Competition for $100 top prize among Omaha metro area high school squads
* Drawing for a free laptop computer (must be present to win, must be a high school student)
* free Old Chicago Post-Prom Party pizzas to the high school with the most students attending
* free T-shirts to all high school students who visit each exhibit

* 1:20 p.m. Scholarships and Financial Aid
* 2:20 p.m. High School Senior presentation
* 3:20 p.m. High School Junior presentation
