UNL students honored for academic achievement

Lincoln, Neb., April 19th, 2007 —

More than 2,000 University of Nebraska-Lincoln undergraduate students will be honored in conjunction with UNL's All-University Honors Convocation April 22 at the Lied Center for Performing Arts.

Students honored include 10 Chancellor's Scholars who will receive their degrees in May or August who have maintained 4.0 grade-point averages on all collegiate work at UNL and elsewhere; Superior Scholars, seniors graduating in the 2006-07 academic year who are in the top 3 percent of their colleges or have been on the Honors Convocation list since their matriculation as freshmen; 4.0 High Scholars, students in all classes (including seniors who will not graduate in May or August) who have earned As in all their coursework at the University of Nebraska; and High Scholars, students who meet the required cumulative grade-point average for their year of matriculation at UNL.

The first link below is to a list by hometown of students to be honors as Chancellor's Scholars (C), Superior Scholars (S) or High Scholars (H). Information includes year in school and college. An asterisk after a last name indicates a student with a 4.0 grade-point average. The second link is to a folder containing color JPEG images of nine of the Chancellor's Scholars (Hegarty is out of the country and was unavailable for a photo).
