More than 300 eighth-grade student leaders from across Nebraska have been invited to the ninth annual Breakfast for Champions May 11 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Bob Devaney Sports Center. The event also features Olympians with Nebraska ties and past and present Husker athletes.

Each eighth-grade student leader, nominated by his or her school's administrators, will receive a Gold Medal of Achievement and a certificate at the breakfast.

Nebraska Alumni Association programs are developed in support of UNL and funded by member dues and corporate partnerships. The Nebraska Alumni Association (www.huskeralum.com) is an independent organization that receives no state or tuition dollars.
