The University of Nebraska-Lincoln has awarded nine transfer Regents Scholarships and 12 transfer scholarships worth $1,000 each to students who have attended other two- and four-year institutions.
To be eligible for the transfer Regents Scholarship, students must have at least a 3.5 grade-point average and have completed a minimum of 45 credit hours at a Nebraska community college. Transfer Regents Scholarships are awarded based on superior academics, demonstrated leadership, and involvement at the current institutions. Recipients of transfer Regents Scholarship receive full tuition for four semesters, an approximate value of $9,600.
The $1,000 transfer scholarships are awarded based on superior academics, demonstrated leadership and involvement at former institutions.

Beatrice: Benjamin Fitzwater, $1,000 scholarship, Southeast Community College-Beatrice, majored in mechanized systems management.
Crete: Jesse Johnson, transfer Regents Scholarship, Southeast Community College-Lincoln, majored in construction management.
Fairbury: Allison Quillen, transfer Regents Scholarship, Southeast Community College-Lincoln.
Grand Island: Brandon Nordhues, $1,000 scholarship, Central Community College, majored in music education; Virgilio Villeda, transfer Regents Scholarship, Central Community College, majored in pre-clinical laboratory science.
Hebron: Elizabeth Retzlaff, $1,000 scholarship, Cottey College.
Lincoln: Benjamin Buhr, $1,000 scholarship, Concordia University, majored in business administration; Jennifer Determan, $1,000 scholarship, Rockhurst University, majored in mathematics; Jordan Fischer, $1,000 scholarship, Southeast Community College-Lincoln, majored in business administration; Tasha Mar, $1,000 scholarship, Brigham Young University, majored in biological sciences.
Loup City: Nicholas Volf, $1,000 scholarship, Wayne State College, majored in business.
McCook: Krystal Bartlett, transfer Regents Scholarship, McCook Community College, majored in broadcasting; Christopher Lyons, transfer Regents Scholarship, McCook Community College, majored in pre-music education.
Morrill: Taylor Hoffman, $1,000 scholarship, Chadron State College, majored in elementary education.
Norfolk: Kevin Freudenburg, transfer Regents Scholarship, Northeast Community College, majored in secondary education for foreign languages.
Odell: Sarah Vitosh, transfer Regents Scholarship, Southeast Community College-Lincoln.
Omaha: Kristopher Knowlton, $1,000 scholarship, Metropolitan Community College, majored in journalism.
Randolph: Joshua Kuchta, transfer Regents Scholarship, Northeast Community College, majored in agriculture.
Sidney: Kent Feuerborn, $1,000 scholarship, Western Nebraska Community College, majored in history.
Wahoo: Brian Shreck, $1,000 scholarship, Southeast Community College-Lincoln, majored in political science.
