Fulldome shows continue at Mueller Planetarium through end of 2007

WHERE: Mueller Planetarium, University of Nebraska State Museum (Morrill Hall), 14th and U Streets
Fulldome shows using the new immersive digital projection format at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Mueller Planetarium will continue on Saturdays and Sundays through the end of the year under a new schedule that goes into effect Aug. 18-19.
The schedule of shows:
Saturdays (except home football Saturdays, Sept. 1, 15, 22 and 29, Oct. 13 and 20, and Nov. 10):
* 1 p.m. -- "Secret of the Cardboard Rocket," (a fun family-friendly show about two children who take off in an imaginary rocket to explore the solar system)
* 2 and 3 p.m. -- "Origins of Life," (which takes audiences on a journey through Earth history and the development of life, scenes of the Earth forming and whales swimming)
Sundays:
* 2 p.m. -- "Secret of the Cardboard Rocket"
* 3 p.m. -- "Origins of Life"

Mueller Planetarium is in the University of Nebraska State Museum (Morrill Hall),14th and U streets on the UNL City Campus. Tickets to planetarium shows are $7 for adults and $5 for all elementary, secondary and college students and UNL faculty and staff. Tickets are sold at the museum front desk the day of the show and include admission to the museum. The NU State Museum is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1:30-4:30 p.m. Sundays. Museum admission only (no planetarium show) is $5 for adults (19 and over), $3 for children (5-18 years, 4 and under are free), and $10 for families (up to two adults and children). Parking is free.
