Lincoln, Neb., November 9th, 2007 —

Because of illness, the Nov. 12 E.N. Thompson Forum lecture by Sunita Narain at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln has been postponed indefinitely.

Narain, director of the Centre for Science and Environment in New Delhi, India, director of the Society for Environmental Communications and publisher of Down to Earth magazine, informed planners today that she is unable to travel to the United States because of illness.

All events associated with the talk will be postponed as well. Ticket-holders are asked to keep their tickets in hopes the talk can be rescheduled.

The E.N. Thompson Forum on World Issues, named for its founder E.N. "Jack" Thompson, brings viewpoints on international and public policy issues to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the citizens of Nebraska to promote understanding and to encourage debate.

The forum is a cooperative project of the Cooper Foundation, the Lied Center and UNL. For more information, visit http://enthompson.unl.edu.
