UNL hydrogeologist Goeke to speak at NARD conference in Kearney

Lincoln, Neb., September 18th, 2008 —

James Goeke, research hydrogeologist in the Conservation and Survey Division in the School of Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, will address conference participants of the Nebraska Association of Resource Districts on Sept. 29.

Goeke will speak at 9:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn, 110 Second Ave., Kearney. He is a member of the UNL Speakers Bureau.

In his presentation, "Nebraska's Water Resources: Past, Present, and Future," Goeke will discuss Nebraska's surface and groundwater resources and the dynamic geologic history of the state. He will also help audiences to better understand Nebraska's complex and bountiful water resources.
