Husker Kids is a recreational day camp for children entering second to sixth grades. A variety of recreational, sport and leisure activities are offered each session. Activities are very similar to those found in a physical education class with the goal being to provide a supportive and enjoyable environment where learning and fun can go hand in hand. Campers are assigned to groups according to grade level and are encouraged to participate in all activities and spend the majority of time outdoors. Swimming is an everyday activity and each weekly session will also offer a field trip, theme day and craft project.

Husker Adventures, for children entering seventh and eighth grades, is day camp designed for youth to participate in recreational, instructional and lifetime sport and leisure activities. Each session will focus on exposing children to a variety of activities stimulating the mind and body. Instruction in the basic skills of traditional and nontraditional sports will occur during all sessions. Opportunities will be presented for campers to interact with UNL faculty and staff in educational and exciting projects.
