Presentation, book signing by 'Galapagos' author is Aug. 14

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will host a free public presentation and book signing Aug. 14 by the author of "Galapagos: Exploring Darwin's Tapestry."
The presentation by John Hess, emeritus professor of biology at the University of Central Missouri, starts at 2 p.m. in the Arbor Room of the Nebraska East Union, Arbor and Center drives on East Campus.
Hess' book was released in May. Discounted copies will be available at the Nebraska Bookstore and at the book signing.
