Campbell inducted into Flag Football National Championships Hall of Fame

Stan Campbell, associate vice chancellor for student affairs and director of campus recreation at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln was inducted into the American Collegiate Intramural Sports Flag Football National Championships Hall of Fame during the national tournament last month at the University of New Orleans.

Campbell was inducted in the Contributors Division based upon his 19 years of service as director of game supervisors and master of ceremonies at the national tournament (1989-2003, 2005-06, 2008). He has been employed at UNL since 1979 when he started as assistant director for intramural sports; he became director in 1982, assistant vice chancellor in 2000 and associate vice chancellor in 2008.

The Flag Football National Championships Hall of Fame was created during the tournament's silver anniversary in 2003. Twenty-five individuals were inducted in its inaugural year.
