The Aziz Ansari show planned for April 6 by University Program Council has been canceled by the artist.
An e-mail from Ansari's agency said the comedian has been asked to host an award program and will be busy practicing for it during that time.
Anyone who has purchased tickets should request a refund from the location where they were purchased and a full refund will be issued.
"UPC will not be inviting Ansari back to UNL since this is his second time canceling on us," UPC adviser Karen Wills said.
The University Program Council is a volunteer student organization designed to address the co-curricular, social, recreational, cultural, and educational needs of the campus. UPC acts as the executive body responsible for the implementation of programs and activities funded by University Programs and Facilities Fees.
