UNL's Jennifer Larkin elected NIRSA student representative

Jennifer Larkin, a graduate assistant for wellness programs with the Campus Recreation Department at University of Nebraska-Lincoln, has been elected the 2010-11 Region V Student Representative for the National Intramural Recreational Sports Association and began her one-year term during the organization's national conference April 20-23 in Anaheim, Calif.
As a member of the NIRSA Student Leadership Team, Larkin will represent the interests of undergraduate and graduate students in Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming, and the Canadian provinces of Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, plus Canada's Northwest Territories. A native of Tulsa, Okla., Larkin earned her bachelor of science degree at Ashland University in Ohio. She is pursuing a master's degree in education at UNL.
