UNL's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute offers 'Annie' pre-talk Dec. 12

The UNL Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will host a free public presentation with Alisa Belflower, senior lecturer in music and theater at UNL, prior to the Lincoln Community Playhouse Dec. 12 matinee performance of "Annie."
Belflower will deliver a pre-talk at 1:30 p.m. at the playhouse, 2500 S. 56th St. "Tomorrow" arrives at 2 p.m. when Annie, Daddy Warbucks and Sandy take center stage in the heartwarming holiday hit. In the musical set in the 1930s, Annie is out to prove there is no reason to be depressed in the Depression, where "It's a hard knock life!"
