Husker Sunday event at Westfield Gateway April 10

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln will be at Westfield Gateway Shopping Center from noon to 2:30 p.m. on April 10 for Husker Sunday, a free and interactive event for families and future students to learn more about UNL during an afternoon at the mall.

Students of all ages and adults can attend to experience a glimpse of college life. Representatives from UNL undergraduate colleges and student affairs offices such as Scholarships and Financial Aid, University Housing and Admissions will be on hand. Other events will include:

* Drawing for a free laptop computer to one student;
* Drawing for a $250 University Bookstore gift card to one student;
* Free Qdoba party to the high school with the most students attending;
* Spirit showcase featuring area high schools;
* Free t-shirts to all high school students who visit each exhibit;
* Hear music performed by winners of the TUNE songwriting contest; and
* Two tickets to the Nov. 25 Nebraska vs. Iowa football game. Listen to KFRX for a chance to win.

Westfield Gateway mall will offer additional promotions and discounts on Husker Sunday including:

* Spend $25 and receive a $5 gift card to Cherry on Top (quantities are limited);
* Register to win a $100 Westfield gift card.
