Lincoln, Neb., November 1st, 2011 —

University Program Council is bringing three comics to Lincoln. Rob Paravonian, Taylor Williamson, and Tracey Ashley will take the stage Nov. 10 in UPC Presents: The Comedy Club. The microphone goes live at 7:30 p.m. in the Centennial Room located inside the Nebraska Union. Admission is free for University of Nebraska-Lincoln students with a valid NCard, $5 for the public, faculty and staff.

Rob Paravonian, famed for his "Pachelbel Rant" YouTube video, is a veteran comic and musician. He has opened for the likes of Lily Tomlin and George Carlin. With wit and charm, he mixes music and comedy, while combining the friendliness of the Midwest with the edginess of the big city.

When Taylor Williamson started performing comedy as a senior in high school, he had no idea that he would become the youngest person to perform on "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson." Taylor has also appeared on Comedy Central and "Last Comic Standing." His slow, unique delivery and self-deprecating humor highlight his talents as a comedian.

After being a cruise director and selling sports radio ads, Tracey Ashley has lived a life filled with exciting moments. From her Southern upbringing to her current life in the Midwest, you never know what this "Last Comic Standing" semi-finalist will lampoon next. Her opinion on society and take on politics will give you a lot to think about while you’re recovering from hysterical laughter.

The University Program Council is a student organization that provides diverse, educational and entertaining programs and events to enhance the UNL community.
