Fountain Frolics provide free music performances at Nebraska Union

Lincoln, Neb., June 4th, 2012 —
The University Program Council at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will present Fountain Frolics concerts at noon Thursdays this summer under the north overhang of the Nebraska Union, 14th and R streets.
The concerts will feature free hour-long musical performances by local musicians, including:
- June 7 -- Broad Appeal
- June 14 -- Tupelo Springfield
- June 21 -- The Resonators
- June 28 -- Lightning Bugs
- July 12 -- Jumpin Kate
- July 19 -- Nebraska Jazz Combo
- July 26 -- Upstairs Blues Band
- Aug. 2 -- Skylark
The UNL Dairy Store will also be serving a hot dog, chips and soda lunch for $4, and ice cream for an additional purchase.
The University Program Council is a student organization that provides diverse, educational and entertaining programs and events to enhance the UNL community.
