Fountain Frolics provide free music performances at Nebraska Union

WHERE: North side of Nebraska Union, 14th and R Streets

Lincoln, Neb., June 4th, 2012 —

            The University Program Council at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will present Fountain Frolics concerts at noon Thursdays this summer under the north overhang of the Nebraska Union, 14th and R streets.

            The concerts will feature free hour-long musical performances by local musicians, including:

  • June 7 -- Broad Appeal
  • June 14 -- Tupelo Springfield
  • June 21 -- The Resonators
  • June 28 -- Lightning Bugs
  • July 12 -- Jumpin Kate
  • July 19 -- Nebraska Jazz Combo
  • July 26 -- Upstairs Blues Band
  • Aug. 2 -- Skylark

            The UNL Dairy Store will also be serving a hot dog, chips and soda lunch for $4, and ice cream for an additional purchase.
The University Program Council is a student organization that provides diverse, educational and entertaining programs and events to enhance the UNL community.
