Degrees granted to 800 at University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Lincoln, Neb., August 10th, 2012 —

            The University of Nebraska-Lincoln will grant degrees to some  800 students at commencement exercises Aug. 10 and 11 in separate ceremonies for baccalaureate and postgraduate degrees.

            The graduates are from 33 states and 31 countries.

            Chancellor Harvey Perlman will preside at both ceremonies. Carolyn Pope Edwards, Willa Cather Professor of Psychology and a professor of Child, Youth and Family Studies at UNL, will give the address at the postgraduate ceremony on Aug. 10. Dennis Molfese, Chancellor's Professor and professor of special education and communications disorders at UNL, will address the baccalaureate ceremony on Aug. 11.
