Lied Center's Phillipe Quint performance on Oct. 25 canceled

Lincoln, Neb., October 22nd, 2012 —

            Grammy-nominated violinist Philippe Quint has canceled his Oct. 25 performance at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Lied Center for Performing Arts. Due to illness, Quint is unable to travel or perform.

            Lied Center executive director Bill Stephan said, "While we are very disappointed that Philippe Quint is unable to perform for our Lied patrons, we wish him a quick recovery."

            Customers who have already purchased tickets to Quint's concert will receive communications from the Lied with options to exchange tickets for another Lied season performance, request a refund or donate the value of their tickets to the Lied Center. Ticket buyers must present their original ticket for a refund or exchange and should contact the Lied Center Ticket Office at 402-472-4747 by Nov. 30.
