The University Program Council at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will present David Garibaldi's "Rhythm & Hue" at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 20 in the Centennial Room of the Nebraska Union, 14th and R streets.

Garibaldi is a world-renowned performance painter who creates images through body movement and brushes while music is played as an added dimension. He has performed for Fortune 500 companies, and charity and celebrity events. Hundreds of thousands have witnessed him turn a blank canvas into a pop art icon as he moves around to music mixed by his exclusive DJ, Joseph One. With musical inspirations varying from U2 to the Glitch Mob, the audience is given a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

As a young artist, Garibaldi listened to hip-hop icons Run DMC and Snoop Dogg while painting graffiti with his middle-school friends. Over the years, he said he has been able live a life "with passion and purpose." At 29, he has raised more than $1 million for nonprofits and charities across the country.

This event will be free for UNL Students with a valid NCard and $5 for the general public.

The University Program Council is a student organization that provides diverse, educational and entertaining programs and events to enhance the UNL community.
