'Fountain Frolics' Thursdays at noon at Nebraska Union

WHERE: Nebraska Union north portico, 15th and S Streets

Lincoln, Neb., June 6th, 2013 —

            For the 15th consecutive year, the University Program Council at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will present Fountain Frolics at noon under the north portico of the Nebraska Union. The concert series will feature free, hour-long musical performances by several local musicians throughout the summer.

            The schedule is: June 6 -- Jumpin Kate and the Naked Reserves; June 13 -- Tupelo Springfield; June 20 -- Skylark; June 27 -- The Lightning Bugs; July 11 -- Broad Appeal; July 18 -- Nebraska Jazz Combo; July 25 -- The Resonators; Aug. 1 -- The Cronin Bros.

            The UNL Dairy Store will serve a hot dog, chips and soda lunch for $4, as well as ice cream for an additional purchase.

            The University Program Council is a student organization that provides diverse, educational and entertaining programs and events to enhance the UNL community.
