'Love, Loss' cancels 2013 fall tour, including October stops at Lied

Because of a cancellation of the production’s 2013 fall season tour, the national touring company for “Love, Loss and What I Wore” has cancelled all performances at the Lied Center, previously scheduled for Oct. 16-20.

“We are certainly disappointed that ‘Love, Loss’ is no longer able to make it to Nebraska. Fortunately our theatre lovers will still have many opportunities throughout the season to enjoy a variety of dramatic performances here at Nebraska’s home for the arts,” said Bill Stephan, executive director of the Lied Center.

To accommodate all patrons, the Lied Center provides many options for “Love, Loss” ticket holders:

-- Patrons who desire a full refund must return their tickets to the Lied Center box office at 12th and R Streets. The deadline to return tickets and receive a full refund is Thursday, Oct. 31. Tickets must be present to receive a refund.

-- The value of “Love, Loss” tickets may also be applied to tickets for an alternate Lied Center regular season performance. For a full list of events visit http://www.liedcenter.org/events. 

-- In lieu of a ticket refund or exchange, “Love, Loss” ticket holders may make a tax-deductible contribution to the Lied Center.

Customers who have already bought tickets to “Love, Loss and What I Wore” will receive communications from the Lied Center with further details on the options available to exchange tickets for another Lied season performance, request a refund or donate the value of their tickets to the Lied Center.
