Lincoln, Neb., October 2nd, 2013 —

Emmy Award-winning performer Wayne Brady has rescheduled his performance at the Lied Center for Performing Arts to March 1. A major filming opportunity was cited as the reason behind the date change.

"When you work with artists in such high demand, working around busy schedules and performance rescheduling comes with the territory," said Bill Stephan, executive director of the Lied Center. "We are thrilled that Mr. Brady was able to move his performance earlier in the month to a prime weekend in March."

Ticket holders who have already purchased seats for the originally scheduled March 22 performance can use the same ticket for the rescheduled March 1 performance. Tickets with the original date will be accepted. The rescheduled performance will begin at 7:30 p.m.

To accommodate all patrons, the Lied Center provides many options for Wayne Brady ticket holders who are unable to attend his performance on March 1. Patrons who desire a full refund must return their Wayne Brady tickets to the Lied Center box office, 301 N. 12th St. Tickets must be present to receive a refund. The deadline to return tickets is Oct. 25.

The value of Wayne Brady tickets may also be applied to tickets for an alternate Lied Center regular season performance. For a full list of events, visit http://www.liedcenter.org.

In lieu of a ticket refund or exchange, Wayne Brady ticket holders may also make a tax-deductible contribution to the Lied Center.

Customers who have purchased tickets to Wayne Brady's performance will receive communications from the Lied Center with further details on the options available to exchange tickets for another Lied season performance, request a refund or donate the value of their tickets to the Lied Center. Ticket buyers can contact the Lied Center Ticket Office at 402-472-4747 with additional questions.
